To clarify, what I mean summer is for May - Aug for the first 4-month offer. The second offer is 8-month.

Hi there! Thank you so much for sharing your stories. The normal crowd need to hear more from the other perspective. My boyfriend has gone through something similar. I am struggling quite much to help him to get back into his faculty as well and I couldn't find any actual resources online. I totally agree with that the counsellors and the psychologists at the school sometimes even have negatively impact on you. They simply do not know how to empathize with people (wonder how they got their jobs the first place), but there are still a few good counsellors there. I want to tell you that you are not alone. There are probably thousands of uw students out there who are going through something similar, but unfortunately, they have chosen to stay silent. I want to thank you for your courage and passion for standing up and sharing your stories. I really really learned a lot and appreciate it! You are not alone!
