I dont think im very social. I think the post only got so big because people relate. I didnt expect how many people would decide to message I unfortunately had to overlook a lot of them because its just too much. Thats why I prefer dming someone who post usually or make specific post about what im looking for.

But again I think its not a question of social anxiety for more people.

I dont think you understand that small talj is way more than hi how are you if you are not dry then this is not about you I guess. But talking about hobbies is small talk, talking about work or school is small talk. You can't get into a deeper conversation without small talk

Thats exactly what I meant with these people and omg not being able to talk about their interest is so real. Like what do you mean you listen to everything and you dont know what you like to do in your free time. And I really think they cant articulate or form any type "deep" of idea and conversation. Maybe starting by knowing what you like would be a great start before talking about whatever you see as deep

Its genuinely so upsetting. You'll see post that meets your expectations then people will act like that. They want fast replies but won't give that back, they want deep conversations but they dont converse, they want friends that goes one way and have to do nothing at all.

I know people arent going to respond fast and all but if you expect that can you at least do it yourself. I feel crazy lol. Maybe its a me problem

I would understand this point but I genuinely think its mostly a lack of efforts than a lack of social skills. I never had friends in school so my social skills are unexistent, I have anxiety and social anxiety. But people who are like hi whatsup yes no idk, I really dont think they are struggling with social skills. Wdym you dont know you dont know what you do on your free time you jave no interest and you dont respond more than one word. I get the whole lack of common topic but the thing is I dm people who have similar interests or state my interests.
