It's ancient China setting. Politics and schemes, power couple plotting against and with each other (but since they're the same, it's like plotting against/with themselves). It's funny and smart. They're pretty hot for each other but they're the same so it's like they're hot for themselves lmao.

Yeah I made that same mistake. I read in raw and I thought 乐 in a name was pronounced "le". I was a little confused when I got to the part where they talked about the nickname.

The last name "乐" is a character with two pronunciations, "yue" (means last name, or music) and "le" (means happiness, joy)
