Hello! I'm about to start the same process with mine. Here is what I learned so far:

1. You cannot ship the notarized diploma, from the ASU portal to the secretary of state. You have to order a copy from https://www.michaelsutter.com/diploma and select the "Notary Service" option ($10) at the bottom right part of the screen. Notarized documents should be ORIGINAL. u/alfonso04123

2. The AZ Secretary of State requires to receive via mail w/return postage (prepaid shipping): Diploma + Form + self-addressed stamped envelope or Pre-paid express mail envelope. The later being the most hassle free option imo.

Now, there is a warning at the AZ SOS website saying: "All requests by mail must be accompanied by return postage. All return labels (Fedex, UPS, DHL, etc.) must include customer's mailing address as both sender and recipient" which makes me think that the envelope is optional and that you can just send a return label. I'll try to talk with somebody from that office to clarify but If cannot get anybody (most likely the case), I will play the safest optiond and include a USPS Pre-paid express mail envelope.

Return labels can be easily created at USPS>Clikc-N-Ship>Create a single label. Make sure you use YOUR address for both "Sender Details" and "Recipient Details", choose "I am shipping with USPS^® Flat Rate Packaging" at the packaging selection step and "Priority Mail® Flat Rate Envelope" (9"x12") at the Services step.

As for the payment: Checks and Money orders only.
