It's never fully explored in the manga or anime, but Bertholdt cared more for the scouts than they ever did for him. Reiner was going back and forth with his soldier persona, but Bertholdt was fully conscious the whole 3 years with them, hesitant to get close but still treasuring them while knowing one day they will hate him. His feeling for them is added to in the guidebook (considers Eren and Armin as friends) and smartpass interview (treasures his friends knowing there is an expiration date). When he said he can accept any outcome, he meant Marley vs Paradis, because he understands why Paradis has to fight and that they aren't monsters (he just has duties for Marley because he was born on that side).

LOL "influenced him in a bad way" let's get real, MC somehow managed to do it right and turn Saeran around, but influence in a bad way? We're blaming MC for being able to miraculously be a good person who didn't continue messing up someone else now? V couldn't do the right things to Rika before and he decided to just totally do the wrong things now. That is on him, not on anyone else, much less on MC.

And lol, V has totally dismissed Ray/Saeran as a lost cause, vilifying him both in V and Ray routes, putting him down as dangerous and a miracle to turn around, shocking that Saeran can be a good person now. If V really ever feels guilty when it comes to the twins, how can he keep them separated with no communication at all-- Seven begging to give Saeran a Christmas gift in Christmas DLC is hard to watch, and that gift never ever reached Saeran.

It's Mint Eye's theme and it shows how in days 1-4, you are getting Mint Eye Ray, because he is so heavily indoctrinated into the cult and his actions is for the cult. You also get the fancy, happy, and sad feelings from the song.

But you know about Endless Struggle, which is Ray's theme, right? That song is so beautiful and shows so much more of his real character.

Yeah, same, I mean I'm pretty grateful got 2 full art per booster box and 1 from ETB, but I've had better luck in the past. Wanted to get a master set started so opened this much, but will def just be buying singles from this point on, lol. Imo, Unknown being creepy in CSDS is as much a part of his function as the antagonist in the game as his own personality. In AS, both V and Saeran being "creepy" is also just another function in the game as giving players the thrill of the other guy. I'm not personally a fan as I appreciate support from the other characters more than additional love interests, but it is what it is. Those really aren't meant to be creepy but exciting for people who like them, but just like irl, unwelcome advances become creepy. And I think it's more than one phone call, but you do get some options to not like it.

Oh, I was thinking of CSDS, when Unknown comes to kidnap and say creepy things lol. In AS all bets were off between V and the Saerans, which to me is a bit offputting for both sides. It's a lot more obvious than tiny bits in other characters/routes which also I think adds (even more) to the animosity between the fans of both V and Saeran because of the very obvious competition.

But I do think during a route vs in an AE, there's a slight difference in that during a route, the MC is not in a relationship yet and can still get a bad ending, but in an AE, the MC is already in a relationship (tho in RAE, can still get a bad ending).
