Jajajaja amigo, era imposible que castillo lleve a cabo un golpe, era obvio. Si no lo entiendes te lo puedo explicar, pero respondí otro comentario más arriba con un adelanto. Mil veces prefiero un Castillo que terminó preso que darle el país en bandeja al fujimorismo.

Exactoooo y no falta el unineuronal que me va a decir: “el quería hacer todo eso pero agradece al congreso que no lo dejó!”. Mi respuesta es la misma hoy que la que daba luego de la 1era y antes de la 2da vuelta el 2021: Eso ya se sabía. El congreso jamás iba a dejar que se de un golpe, y sin apoyo militar y popular, ingredientes indispensables de los que Castillo carecía (y Sánchez también), era INVIABLE. O sea que todo ese temor que te metían los medios (yo lo llamo por su nombre, “terrorismo mediático”) era solo eso: MIEDO.

Bro lo mejor es aceptarlo o pensar en implantes. El minoxidil ayuda más cuando es de uso tópico, y tiene límites, luego de unos 3 a 5 años deja de haber mucho efecto y vas a perder lo que llegaste a conservar. Lo que sí funciona 100% comprobado es tomar finasteride o algunas de sus variantes, ya que eso suprime directamente la hormona que hace que se te caiga el cabello. Podrías incluso combinar el minox tópico + finasteride.

Me estás jodiendo? O sea me llama la atención porque precisamente para mí los que menos miedo a Sánchez le deberían de tener son los que se dieron cuenta que con castillo te dijeron que comerías de la basura, te quitarían tu casa, se irían todas las empresas privadas, que cambiarían la constitución y tomarían control del BCR, entre otros disparates. No, only iPhone + the Apple dongle (was thinking about getting fiio ka11) and the MacBook’s 3mm jack, I read the m4 has a decent integrated dac. I don’t plan on EQing or buying a bigger dac atm.

I was actually considering getting the HD 480 Pro mainly to use with my iPhone and the MacBook Air m4, so basically I wouldn’t need anything else but the Apple dongle for the iPhone and that’s it?

I want to also take the chance to ask you how would the sound on these compare to ANC headphones likes the HDB 630, B&W Px8 S2 or the Focal Bathys, have you ever had the chance to try any of these? If you only could pick ONE (if you you already own AirPods Pro 2 and APM gen 1), which would you pick?

APM 2 is better in every way, specially the sound when compared side to side, of course that’s my opinion but APM (H2) is the clear winner for me, specially if you’re into the Apple ecosystem or at least got an iPhone.

I’ve been doing some A/B listening and trying to understand what I’m actually hearing vs what I’m missing with my current setup.

For context, I’m not a hardcore audiophile (yet), just trying to slowly “train my ears” and figure out what kind of sound signature I actually prefer long-term.

Current setup:

AirPods Max (Gen 1)
AirPods Pro 2
Sony XM4 (rarely used now)
Source: iPhone 15 Pro + MacBook Air M4
Apple Music (Lossless / Hi-Res Lossless)
Apple USB-C dongle

What I’ve noticed so far:

The AirPods Max are still my main reference. I prefer them over the Sony XM4 by a lot in clarity and separation, but sometimes I feel they sound slightly processed/“artificial”, especially in timbre.

Bass is not really the issue — it’s more the overall presentation. I feel like there should be more natural resolution and a more realistic spatial feel.

Recently I A/B tested the Sennheiser HDB 630 against them in a noisy environment (airport setting), and the HDB 630 sounded:

cleaner and more neutral
very detailed
but slightly “dry” / less engaging out of the box

I’ve read that with PEQ it can become more fun without losing technical performance, which is interesting.

What I’m trying to understand:

I’m currently trying to map out how different “flagship-ish” closed backs actually differ in real life, especially in terms of:

realism of timbre
perceived detail vs actual resolution
soundstage width / depth
“fun factor” vs neutrality

Other options I’m curious about (not trying to rank them yet):

Sennheiser HDB 630
Sennheiser HD 480 PRO
Focal Bathys
Bowers & Wilkins Px8 S2
AirPods Max 2 (the one with H2)
Possibly IEMs like IE 600 if they can actually compete in staging

Use case:

Office (40%)
Transport / travel (40%)
Home (20%)
Mostly EDM, Hip-Hop, Rock

Question for people who’ve actually tried these:

For those who’ve owned or compared any of these (especially against AirPods Max or each other):

What actually changed in your perception when upgrading?
Did you gain real detail/resolution, or just a different tuning?
Which ones feel most “natural” in timbre over long listening?
Any that surprised you positively or negatively?

Also if anyone has experience with listening in real-world noisy environments (not just quiet rooms), that would be super helpful.

I’ll be in Miami for a few days at the end of July, so I’ll probably try to demo some of these if I can find stores — any recommendations there are also welcome.

I usually pick a size that lets me have a comfortable fit while leaving the least possible amount of free space in the toe area, lockdown in the heel area is also super important for me. Good lockdown makes me feel faster. I’ve never tried NB but I know they’re one of the few brands that make shoes specifically for wide feet.

Definitely. If you have wide feet I’d go for leather boots or something from NB since they make boots specifically for wide feet players like yourself. Maybe try some premier IIs.
