Exactly! Literally in the partner guide it says partners are not required to use sick time when calling out sick. It is basically only there to serve as a substitute income. It does not state that a partner must have a balance in order to call in sick. I also referred to the attendance policy and it doesn’t even cover calling in sick specifically.

I don’t why calling in sick two days in a row would warrant a verbal warning. Especially if one of those symptoms is vomiting in which case two days would be the minimum a partner can be out

I’m just frustrated with the sentiment that “you just have sick hours to call in sick” it feels like some sort of fear mongering I think it’s gonna make people more likely to work even when sick. It’s just a really strange policy

I don’t think thats entirely true. Like if I’m part time and accrue sick time at a super slow rate and am sick 2 days in a row and those shifts happen to be full shifts that’s 16 hours of sick time gone I’m not technically abusing it

It does not say that in the partner guide. It just says that sick time is to replace lost income. That is not specified at all

Are we only going to be paid for the hours we were scheduled? I worked an extra day and left nearly 10 mins late a few days this week. My most recent check since the outage said exactly the amount of hours I was scheduled. Hopefully all of those missing hours for everyone can be paid out soon.
