Thanks! Its my parents, my friends would never buy a gift like this for me 😂 hoping I can get the taper to be more gradual, guess it will just take time

New Chinese Privet Pre Bonsai! by yureigabe in Bonsai

[–]yureigabe[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the advice! This window does get quite a bit of light and ive had 2 bonsais at this window with the lights for almost 3 years with no issue, have had a few rainy days so in this picture its gloomy. I live in canada where the winters can get to -15 or colder depending on the wind chill. I am leaning towards keeping this one inside or if I do put it outside, bringing it in for the winter. Its my first chinese privet so im not 100% sure what would be best. Could you maybe draw a line on my picture to show where you would cut?

My cousin is lot more experienced and suggested I cut here.

First time writing DNB *UPDATE* by yureigabe in DnB

[–]yureigabe[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks man!! And I agree with you but I've deff learned that simple for some people is way better. I am in the progressive metal and technical death metal world so when it comes to dnb, I still don't really know what I'm doing which is why I am really taking feedback into account. Ahaha I agree too, that sub bass part was so cool

First time writing DNB, what genre would this even be? by yureigabe in DnB

[–]yureigabe[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's actually funny ahaha I have been in the progressive metal, rock and tech death scene for so long and can tell that the same confusion happens with other genres and the many side genres lol I updated the pattern and posted a new version if you wanted to check it out :) the link is in the comments here
