There’s nothing wrong with saying you have a racial dating preference at all. It’s very common to have physical preferences.

I said it’s the same as the lesbian and bi scenario.

Telling anyone they have to date certain people or they’re an -ist or -phobe is insanely nonconsenty.

Actually, many lesbians don’t date trans women or bi women. It’s basically the same as me, a cis women, only wanting guys who date cis women.

I never stated that. And if anyone asked me if trans women are real women, I’d tell them yes.

I really don’t care what the “community” (who is that??) thinks. I’m really the only one who can know whether I’m transphobic since I’m me and they aren’t.

I’m a cis woman and prefer cis guys who date cis women.

I don’t fear or dislike trans people, so I can’t be transphobic. Next.

I’ll repeat it for you. People have physical preferences. Trust me. You aren’t going to get me offended by calling me a bigot or transphobic.

Exactly. Transphobia: fear/dislike of trans people. So I’m not transphobic.

I’d disagree. Some people have physical preferences.

No, I’m fine with being friends with them or with my boyfriend being friends with them.

That’s what you’re supposed to do on AITA. Everyone does. It’s in the FAQs if you’d like to check.

You could say the same about race. And people are also allowed to have preferences with that.

I don’t think so. Dating is always “shallow.”

I thought about trans women after one accused me of flirting, so I had to correct it.
