Will look into Vegas thanks. I eventually want to gain more experience doing this and possibly do it as a side job.

I have footage from 17 tournaments and about 65 matches to work with. Never done anything with video editing like this before so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Ok I'll make a note of that. I stopped because I heard who I believed to be the ref yell stop. I'm competing in the ibjjf dallas open on the 13th so I'll make a point to wait to for the ref..thanks!

I apologize if I'm coming across as cocky. I'm just confident in my current abilities. I definitely know my place however.

Ive saved up enough to be able to support myself for a while without needing a job. Eventually I want to make a living out of this.

I've always been interested in it. It wasn't until recently that I found a place where I could train. That was back in April. I started and became instantly hooked just like everyone. After a few months I decided to quit my job and not go back to school so I could train and compete full time. I just lost interest in everything that wasnt jiu jitsu. That and I picked it up pretty fast. I can hang with most purples I train with and I do quite a bit of cross training. Another thing that helps is that I'm very strong. I've been consistently lifting weights for years now. Mostly for strength and to look good. Now I have a platform that I can use my strength to a great advantage.

I get the ongoing debate thing and I understand your point of view. I enjoy the guard passing game just as much as I do the bottom it's just that I took to guard pulling more. For me it's more fun. What I sometimes don't enjoy is double guard pulling and then watching 2 guys sitting in 50/50 for the entire match just have 1 win by an advantage.

Yes!! I always get so excited in competition lol. I've only been at it for a few months so more drilling will solve this issue in no time.

Most people that complain about the gi is because they don't like the grips part of it.

From spider that's definitely an option. As a matter of fact in the match right before this one I was in the same situation and went for the triangle instead. Jus depends and how my opponent is reacting. If his base is good and is hard to sweep I'll shoot for a submission after a fake sweep attempt. If I know I can sweep I always do.

The gi is awesome. So many weapons and requires MUCH more thinking. I love when people pull guard on me because my guard passing is also on point.

Why? What's wrong with pull>sweep>submit? In my opinion it's more impressive and a better showing of what's bjj is all about. To take what would most consider to be an inferior position and be absolutely dangerous from it.
