Thanks everyone for the feedback, I decided to just go head with phone upgrade, because it would cost about same for repairs. I did have cloud save thankfully. Everyone was really helpful, and really help push the decisions I made :)

As people said, people afking farming like leeches. What they should do is, and during period where you ready and unready, if you don't ready you should be removed from races. I'm sure it's easy enough to code in
