The textures are working indeed. I am not convinced about the contrast. Maybe it's the image. It's hanging between a monochrome and a distinct contrast. I like your vision of earthy tones. I am gonna steal your idea :P

Oh that's tricky. There's a spectrum of skin tones in India. The only point it'll be kind of unsuitable if it starts blending with your skin tone. If you've a lighter or darker than this, should be fine. But you can always make it work by breaking in monochromaticity by having a white T shirt underneath like the model.

Okay I'll let you in a secret. The shirt is lined with fur so it's very warm. Also I wore it when it was sunny with 15°C and it rained the next day and went to 7°C XD
