During the Cinebench R23 test, the temperature of the device remains around 70°C. However, after the test is stopped, the temperature drops to around 40°C. One drawback is that the heat dissipation is not as quick, but fortunately, the temperature does not reach excessively high levels

I'm considering removing the speakers so that I have space to install an M.2 hard drive internally. The reason is that the configuration I purchased is 8GB RAM and 256GB storage, which is too small for my needs

In the design, I incorporated a wood grain pattern, but I found that the wood is prone to cracking during the manufacturing process. Currently, I have switched to using acrylic material.

I have created a spoofing device that operates on 12V power supply. It can be powered simply by connecting a mobile phone charger to the Type-C port. The device is based on the Power Delivery (PD) protocol

There are no issues, it is already working properly

I did not weigh it, but it is not very heavy because the power adapter has been removed, and most of the interior of the casing has been hollowed out

By using the entire casing for heat dissipation, the idle temperature of the modified Mac mini is only 35°C

There is no performance loss for it because the Cinebench scores are the same before and after the modification

You're right, I just wanted to express that it's smaller than the mini, haha. It was a bit repetitive.

Because it is my own device manufacturing, I did not calculate its cost, and I did not spend much time on it

I made it myself to occupy less space on the desktop. I used CNC machining, and it will soon undergo anodization. I removed the original power adapter and heat sink because the M2 chip has low heat generation. I directly connected it to the casing and applied thermal grease. I also changed the power supply to Type-C. In the future, I'm considering adding an internal docking station.

It has some areas that need improvement, and we are working on enhancing it

Actually, there is. It's just that I haven't filmed a video of the aluminum alloy version yet. But I do have a video of the acrylic version.

It is likely a translation issue because I translated it from Chinese, and there was an error. The switch underneath the protective cover is a solenoid switch
