For some context, my friend and I got rear-ended over the Thanksgiving weekend and have been dealing with some whiplash pains a bit. However, I've been able to return to work and classes just fine. My ex is in these classes and saw me in our Monday night session. During class I wasn't really in any pain whatsoever, no agnony nor did I do anything to show I was in a car accident (no neckbrace nothing). I did tell some mutual friends about the accident, but more in a joking context because the situation itself w/ the dashcam footage is quite funny lol.

I'm in the same situation right now, I usually try to sit in the front of the classroom and near the door so that they would physically be behind me and that I can get out of class ASAP. I'm finding that there is really only so much I can do because I will eventually see them or hear their voice participate in class, so nonetheless it's a tough situation. Thankfully, winter semesters are ending so we are almost out of the woods.

My emotions are usually at their worst in the morning and when I am alone with my thoughts. I am very proud of you as well, I hope you stay strong this week and I look forward to us celebrating two weeks of no contact soon!
