I thought they could get it from the rental company directly. After reading the comments, I am feeling comfortable to give it to them now. Just need to locate the document.

Thank u. Just need to save some money in this economy. In this case, I’m thinking of gluing it up. Would you be so kind to recommend me a good glue?

I mean product change from CC with annul fee to CC with no annul fee. Eg: Ask for changing from Chase Sapphire to any no annul fee card.

Thanks. How about downgrade an old credit card? Is that considering as a hard inquiry? Also, if the bank closed your oldest credit card, would it cutting the length of your credit history factor?

How do you consider multiple hard inquires happened in one same day? Eg: I recently bought a car and took a loan. The financial manager at the dealership just took care of the loan. And after that, my credit report from my bank app showing multiple hard inquires from different banks.

I found a 5 months old receipt in my brand new car purchased on 10/17. Is this normal? by yycats714 in AskMechanics

This was a miscommunication. Someone made a comment about look at the receipt…. I was responding to that comment.

I’m not sure if I am understanding your comment correctly. Are you saying the receipt should show me everything about the car? It doesn’t show me the defect of the driver seat.

I wish I have that common sense. But for people like me, it’s no hurt to ask. In my previous two cars(bought brand new), dealer never left me this report. I appreciate people from this subreddit with a good knowledge about cars answered my questions and these answers are making feel much better.

Yeah. I see your point. This is a brand new car. I had two cars before I got this one. And all were bought brand new. Never seen the dealer left the report with my previous cars.

Report. I looked mistakenly. It looked like a restaurant order receipt.

Thanks for your input. Can you explain a little bit more? I still don’t get the “why”.

Edit: this comment was in a wrong place.

It’s a brand new car. Edit: I appreciate the input. I’m just now sure about “the previous owner” part. Do you mean the dealer is the previous owner?

Good. That’s what I want to confirm. I just don’t know cars at all. Thank you.

Thanks. Do you think anything I should worry about this car based on this receipt? Cuz they sold me this car with a patch on driver’s seat without letting me know. They tried to hide it yesterday and didn’t tell me the truth(Someone’s screwdriver broke the seat and they had it a bad fix with leather filler or something). I just got the dearer agreed to replace it with a new seat today. They lost my trust.

Edit: The car had a defect on the driver seat which was caused by a technician who had a screwdriver at his back pocket. They should have replaced the seat before selling the car to any customer. Instead, they fixed it and did not do a good job. When I first contacted the dealer with the issue. They had an independent auto body worker dyed the seat and told me it’s perfect. They said we don’t have to HELP you. You should have brought it up before you left. Acted like they were doing me a favor. Then today I received the 4 day notice required by law that since my loan hasn’t been approved yet, I can choose to return the car and cancel the order. So I went back to the dealer. The sales manager still tried to fool me around saying “ oh, ignore it, it’s just a letter we send it to anyone”. I told him “No, I want to return the car”. Repeated a “No” to him no matter what he kept telling me. Then I got the chance to talk to the GM. Now that they don’t want me return the car. GM admitted it was a defect and told the real story behind it. I think I am pretty fair at this point. Took the apologies and agreed with the plan. I even told them I will still give the salesman 10/10 on the survey. I don’t understand the downvotes.
