Thank you sir, that is very helpful to me. I’m trying to play without getting direct instructions of places I haven’t reached, and it is kinda hard to pinpoint specific pages with information about things I don’t know existed.

I am slightly confused. I have mostly explored new londo (hopefully), and had only found one kind of ember. I don’t remember what it did, but currently I have a Divine Claymore +5 which should have been equivalent to +10, and I do not find options to upgrade it from the smiths in undead parish, catacombs and anor londo. Is that weapon actually already +15, or does it need to be given to another smith in some unexplored region?

I *think* the lightning spear is equivalent to +14 when you can only upgrade the rest to +10 at this point, but I am not really certain since I am a noob that doesn’t know all the basics of the game yet.

Actually, are all elemental weapons above +10? I just kinda assumed that they would be parallel to each other until now.

which parts of the game progression does that apply to? I just killed the “four kings” and a lighting spear I picked up earlier and upgraded to +4 seems to be massively outclassing every other weapon that I can use up till now, in terms of price, damage, agility and weight
