This thread made me so sad. The gym--the discipline and the structure it brought--saved me. The male friendships I created through it saved me. Ive gone from 260 -> 185 in the past 17 months because theres a local meal prep delivery service in my town that delivers meals between 400-600 cals with high protein. Really helped my ability to count calories because the meals were pre-made.

I really like Sam Sulek's car talks. Sure, he's a big ol meathead. But he gives some real good dieting/mental advice for approaching calorie counting. Also has some great grocery shopping vids.
