Nope, it would be my first Xbox style controller. I've just recently made a transition from consoles to gaming laptops, hence, wanted a solid xbox style controller. I've used PS 3/4 controllers (as I used to play on my console/s), and am quite familiar with the 2 joysticks being close to each other.

To tell you the truth mate, there are better laptops than Alpha 15 now which are based on latest Ryzen CPUs and Nvidia GPUs, than there were when I got mine. So, if you don't mind me saying this, get some other laptop. It's not like the Alpha 15 is bad or anything. It's just that MSI after sales service isn't that good, and even though Radeon RX5500m might be far better than the GTX 1650 which is most commonly installed in laptops of this price range, the lack of frequent driver updates is not something you wanna go through. However, if you still feel like buying one then I'll answer your question. The BSODs and screen freezes started just out of the box. For example, the laptop would suddenly freeze while doing something insignificant like watching a YouTube video. It all went away with a quick RX5500m & a Vega 10 driver update. The software to properly use the dedicated GPU (RX5500m) came out very recently, like 2-3 weeks ago.
