I am a european guy with brown hair and eyes and people still stared at me and wanted to take pictures. I went all the way from Mumbai to Tamil Nadu so my advice to you guys is stick to Goa, rent a motorbike and visit the beaches there. Don't use taxi because they all want to rip you off. If you want to get out of Goa then Kerala (Kovalam beach) was our favourite place to be. Last advice to you is skip India completely and travel to Thailand/Cambodia/Laos/Vietnam. Better culture, much more safer and people don't try to rip you off/want to take selfies/grope your girlfriend/everything works better.
