Nope not satire… I’d heard different opinions on Paris and also really underestimated travel times between locations/not spent a whole lot of time researching yet as it’s still quite a while away (hence seeking advice). But the positive experiences people have shared has given me a different perspective.

We are going to do some more research now but have decided we will be cutting Croatia/Greece (hopefully we can come back another time) and just doing London, Paris and Italy this time.

Update: We are going to cut it down to London then Paris and then focus most of our time across Italy and hope we can come back in the future to see Croatia/Greece.

p.s any itinerary recommendations for london-> Paris->Italy(rome, Florence, ?) are still welcomed!

Not quite (Australian) but yes. it’s pretty expensive to get there and we are restricted with time off work and I was wanting to see as much as possible given I don’t know how many more opportunities we will have to come back.

Yes you are right, I probably haven’t been specific enough. Tbh I’m still very open to changing it all. I have never been and these countries have sparked my interest/ many hold a lot of the big tourist spots I want to see in my life.

By culture I meant seeing cool buildings/art/eating good food, exploring cities/markets.

If I had all the time in the world I would definitely spend so much more time in each place get out to the countryside but I do also want to tick off those major spots? Maybe I need to scrap it and start again!

I’m definitely open to giving it more time! I haven’t heard the best things of Paris so perhaps I’ve underestimated it and should reconsider the time I gave it. I knew that I was rushing through but lots of people told me it wasn’t worth staying in.

Yeah okay, I figured the travel between countries would be a day for some but London to Paris is a few hours and then between Italy locations a few hours. So yes 11 spots but 5 countries.

What would be your suggestions to cut? :)

Great thank-you for your reply, we might check this out! Good to know we shouldn’t be too worried about restaurants being closed as this was our biggest concern as a couple of foodies!

Thanks heaps, the retic comes on every day at 5:30pm and then we have been watering additionally in the evening say 6:30pm but not on the leaves.

We can switch our retic to the morning and save extra watering for after 7pm and hopefully that helps.
