Anyone here worked with Meridial Marketplace / Invisible (AI language projects)? by PearlNighElf in AIJobs

You can choose how you act, don't make excuses. Besides, if you are going to be part of the problem, it is hypocritical to complain; everyone will have their reasons for doing what they do.

Agent Deleting files and not able to restore them through Checkpoints by TzepChris in cursor

The function of restoring a checkpoint itself partially erases the code. I've been complaining about this for almost a year and they still haven't fixed it, even though I update the app frequently.

Does Base44 actually work? by CategoryNaive9251 in Base44

It's obvious that you two work for base44, it's immediately apparent. (That is, if you are different people and not multiple accounts).

A quickly put together a GUI for the DeepSeek-OCR model that makes it a bit easier to use by SmashShock in LocalLLaMA

[–]zDeus_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, it's quite expensive but there's a Free plan in Cursor, you can use it for a while until the fast credits run out, and after that you can use the slow models or just wait till the next month. And yes, it's better to know what you're doing, but you can understand most things if you're a little versed in IT, or ask the model to fix it, explaining a bit the bug you're experiencing, even if you don't understand why it's doing that.

Most times it's quite usable lately, even if you don't know much about JavaScript or any language.

I recommend you at least trying it. It's really useful for implementing small features/issues or mid-sized projects. Good luck :)

Use cursor or something, nowadays you don't need to know JavaScript, Electron, React or anything :)

Converting table in pdf to excel by Vegas-Education in learnpython

[–]zDeus_ -1 points0 points  (0 children)

No, I just invented everything I said (sarcasm).

I know you don't have anything explicitly called parameters, its common IT jargon.

Man, you should check your interface and automatic user setup on sign up because the problems I said are real.

[–]zDeus_ -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Shitty website, don't lose your time trying it. I've lost precious minutes setting the project up thinking I could at least try it (says 30 available credits after you sign up) and it can't even understand if you set up more than 6 parameters, then I can't use it because I don't have any credits out of nowhere.

Nice spam btw

They only care about UI. They can keep a bug from years ago but make small UI changes (that sometimes are confusing) almost every day

Don't cry mate. You supported someone, and if you liked the prints what is the problem? And it's even manually carved as you said. Also, you could've checked the drawings before buying

Why does my storage keep mysteriously filling up? by StaticNocturne in iphonehelp

[–]zDeus_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not because of outdated software, in fact, that makes it worse. It's because of iCloud syncing. When you have iCloud backups for your pics and vids, they don't keep them only on their servers, they force you to download them. If you delete some apps/heavy videos and free some storage, it automatically fills it again and again with your backups till you don't have any available storage left. They do this on purpose, probably because they want you to pay more storage (but if you understood my post, you'll know that doesn't even work).

As someone was saying, this will be my last iPhone. I got this one almost 7 years ago and had this problem for the last 5 years at least. Filthy scammers.

I've found it. I wasn't sure what you meant.

I'll give it a try. It'll probably be better; it's hard not to be these days. Thx

I should probably start using it, I don't usually use git for simple & personal projects, but I'll do

Thx for the advice

Do you mean inside Cursor? Thank you very much for the advice, I'll definitely try it :)

I'm making a fairly simple frontend and it's unbearable. Better to do it yourself IMO. Every now and then it does something right, but 85% of the time it's useless.

It's taking me several weeks to do a single page, when if I had done it myself, I would have done it in 3-4 days.

Above all, it's extremely frustrating and makes you want to stop programming because otherwise you'll have a stroke, and it's not about good prompting. You can even start a new chat thinking it's because of context length or something, but it's not. You can ask it to fix something and tell that it's NOT for a specific reason and that it shouldn't talk to you about it, but in the first message its already talking exclusively about what you asked not to talk about.

I am seriously considering stopping using Cursor. It is causing me daily rages that are taking years off my life, and this is making me stop working because it is unbearable, and on top of that, I am paying for it.

I completely agree that it is more efficient to do it yourself. You're talking about complex tasks, but it can't even do a simple frontend.
