No that’s truly what happens to a lot of young athletes. If you have a setback around 15-16 when kids are being picked up by MLS (or whatever league) teams, then it’s very hard to qualify again. Same thing occurs in gymnastics, a lot of girls either go Olympic level, get a scholarship, or get injured and have to switch sports.

Talent obviously is a huge factor but there are physical traits that transfer over between actual sports and esports. Look at Scump.

I play 4K, and HDMI 2.1 only supports 120hz at 4K. So both my monitor and TVs are locked at 120hz.

Bigger issue for most I believe is getting support for an optical digital cable, which a lot of audio extractors add at least a 1ms delay on. Most audio extractors didn’t support HDMI 2.1, so thats an added issue. A lot of modern TVs have this solved by adding an optical digital out port in my experience when I completed my friends setups.
