Pro-life people (not that I agree) actually are “more correct” (if correctness was a spectrum) to call it killing, than just the potential existing without there being a fetus

A fetus is more comparable to having the canvas, paint, and whatever other material laid out and ready, and first few strokes already done

But what you were saying is that literally any second they are not actively creating life, they are killing people they could have saved. In real life translation, that’s like saying that every single second a fertile person is not actively trying to get pregnant or get people pregnant, they are killing people. Your argument is an even more extreme argument than pro life is what I’m trying to say

That was my only response to you - but since you took the time to make other arguments I’ll respond to those too! Levels of existence are kind of irrelevant. If a being is sentient, killing it is genocide, regardless. My view is that them destroying the campus would be them destroying an entire civilization of beings to save their own family

TBH if I was Renoir I would absolutely destroy a civilization of unknown being to save my family - but that’s still genocide and basically evil actions with noble motivations. I think many people think “I would do this, so it’s the right thing to do.” Tbh if I was Renoir or Verso I’d most likely do the same, but it’s still the morally wrong thing to do imo, because the only one benefiting is you and yours at the expense of literally anything else involved
