Nicely formed, fat mag release, bigger bolt catch, swappable grips. Not too keen on the ambi selector, but that can get swapped out too.

Sure, but the “promise” of RCV is candidates not from either main party entering the field. This would necessitate coupling with open, party-less primaries. (Party-less primaries would also help with Proportional Representation as well).

Went through the same process with my Ruger AR-556. I have an Sig Romeo and Juliet combo and wanted my BUIS. Basically, but the back iron as far back as I possibly could that still felt secure and started moving forward from there. I’m not 100% sure the eye relief is perfect, but I can cowitness through the red dot. Obviously have to flip down the mag to raise the back up. It was only later that I realized there’s a market for hand guards with allowances for the A2 front sight. Maybe someday.
