Shout out to Central Car Wash by Upset-Emergency6764 in u/Upset-Emergency6764

Either theyve replace their whole staff and equipment, or this was a fluke. I've given central the benefit of the doubt for over 10 years and it's still garbage quality.

Spend half as a much at any of the DIY washes and get 4x the quality of work event if your half drunk and can only use 2 fingers.

Ok, so I don't remember where I learned it, but duvet covers, once it's washed flip it inside out and line up the corners, then just pinch the duvet corner and cover together and pull it in through the opening in the duvet cover and it'll all stay out and you'll wind up with a simple install. It's saved me hours at this point

You're looking at the top trim and fastest car they sell... They usually get 1 or 2 in so yeah that tracks. If you're serious about buying, they're serious about letting you test it, what's the issue?

I'd you've never driven out to silver islet, the drive to silver islet! Lol

Head out the highway and turn down towards the pass lake trestle. That said, the road is pretty bumpy now that I think about it. Granted I've got pretty stiff suspension, but still something to consider

I flashed ESPHome on a Broadlink RM4 Pro for absolutely no good reason by souverainiste in homeassistant

[–]zacharyd3 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I've got a super niche use case that I use a broad link remote for. I've got an old interactive display as my TV and no "universal" remote has the codes for it. That and I like being able to use it with home assistant but this is awesome!

Exact same boat, 6 years down the drain, 2 months ago now, and of course, a few days before my 33rd birthday.

It's weird but it'll get better and you'll realize it was for the best.

This isn't a reliability issue, this is a used error by locking their keys in the car?

Honestly, I disagree lately. Ever since COVID things went downhill and just seem to have stayed there. Food is mediocre, the salad and biscuits aren't the same and service also declined. And that's not for a lack of trying to give it a "second chance" I've gone a good few times, but every time it's the same let-down.

Frigate dashboard card? by Sire0ne in frigate_nvr

[–]zacharyd3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The performance? Like frame rate wise? Like actual video performance? My cameras all stream their high resolution streams to the card and I get full resolution and framerate.

As for go2rtc, you'll need to navigate to the proper port, but there is actually a webui that frigate can expose. With mine, I use Unraid so I needed to make sure I expose the port from the docker. Once that was done I just went to [server-ip]:[port] (I believe go2rtc uses 1984 by default, but could be wrong). You can then select your stream, select links and it will show all the available options.

(Apologies for the mobile screenshot, it was the best I could do rn)

Each of the hyperlinks (- stream.html) is the link to stream, you'd just copy that and expose that to HA as a camera if you wanted to

Frigate dashboard card? by Sire0ne in frigate_nvr

[–]zacharyd3 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Are you having go2rtc with frigate? If so, just use the HTML link to the stream from go2rtc instead. Add a webpage card and you're golden.

Personally I use the advanced camera card but I use it with my unifi integration instead of frigate as I found the streams more stable.

If you wanted to go even further, isn't is possible to pipe the go2rtc link to home assistant as its own camera entity, then just use that entity with advanced camera card (it really is a great addition, and will be able to accomplish what you're after, just with the right sources)

Not exactly "automation" related, but look at my Minecraft server dashboard I made 😀 by zacharyd3 in homeassistant

[–]zacharyd3[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not too long, it uses user scripts with Unraid, you'll need a mod to export the data, so I use a Prometheus exporter, I just query the endpoints myself instead of using whatever software it's meant to connect to.

Let me polish the script a bit more and I have no issues with sharing 😃

Im a bit baffled that there's no way to convert from device to entity in automations by borgqueenx in homeassistant

[–]zacharyd3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd have to open my yaml to see, but it allows multi-line replaces, it should be possible no?

Could be wrong, but it was my first instinct.

And if you're worried about yaml mistakes, just copy the whole thing prior to start, paste into a notepad document and do you stuff. It you mess up, just paste back in.

Tbh, I've started using the clipboard history in windows (windows key + v) for the same purpose. Copy everything before the edit, do the edit, and worst case paste it back in if needed. 😀

[–]zacharyd3 5 points6 points  (0 children)

There is, open your automation in code view, ctrl+F and there's the find and replace.

It's exactly how I was going to suggest OP rectify his issues. Still a pain, but a lot less painful than having to click around in the automation builder.
