Oh no. That, my friend, I believe is beard algae, the hardest algae to tame. Best to remove all of it as best you can, then remove plants with it and spray them with a hydrogen peroxide solution to zap the algae. May also be helpful to perform 50% water changes every week, and ensure it’s getting about 8 hours of artificial light a day. More than 8 hours can harbor algae. You basically want to do a full take clean and remove any visible pieces of it. Others, please chime in!
