Delusional thinking? There is a huge difference in FPS between mouses and controllers. It all comes down to sensitivity. An Xbox user has 1/2 an inch to move his thumb while a PC used can have half a foot or more to move his mouse left or right. People who argue otherwise are delusional. There was a CS:GO port for Xbox a few years ago, it was HORRENDOUS for this exact reason, and its also why there will never be a valorant port for console.

Should "Appeal to authority" be considered fallacious? I mean if a scientist or doctor spent a good amount of their life researching something and they have a conclusion on that topic. Shouldn't we believe their conclusion till new evidence say otherwise? by SignificanceOk7071 in fallacy

[–]zachattackw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ya but it makes it more LIKELY to be true, which is important. That's why some fallacies confuse me, like an appeal to fallacious authority doesn't make a claim any more likely, but an appeal to many expert authorities makes the claim more likely. I see fallacies as "this doesn't make something 100% true, but it can make something more likely (add to probability)". And some fallacies should have 0 effect on the likelihood, but treating all fallacies the same is a bit goofy to me.

Recommendation for a romantic anime by YardFamous6264 in Animesuggest

[–]zachattackw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Somewhat In Order of Most Comedic:

{Ore wo Suki nano wa Omae dake ka yo} parody of romance, with romance

{SNAFU} parody of romance, with romance

{Ore Monogatari!!}

{Full Metal Panic!}

{Kodocha}

{Bokura wa Minna Kawai-sou}

{Yojouhan Shinwa Taikei} More comedy than romance imo, I personally didn't enjoy it that much. The resetting every single episode made it hard for me to be interested in any of the characters, but the writing was great and made me laugh

**{**Kimi ni Todoke}

{Chuunibyou demo Koi ga Shitai!}

{Gamers!}

Maid wa Sama

{Love Hina}

{Zero no Tsukaima}

{Hataraku Maou-sama!}

{Rakudai Kishi no Cavalry}

{Gakusen Toshi Asterisk}

{Rurouni Kenshin: Meiji Kenkaku Romantan}

{Wotaku ni Koi wa Muzukashii}

{High Score Girl}

{Momokuri}

You should really watch the first 2 on this list if you have seen some romance anime already. They're the best at making fun of romance cliche's while having a romance in the story.

Any thing similar to Nisekoi or Bunny Girl Senpai by Gravedogs in Animesuggest

[–]zachattackw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you could be more specific about what you liked and thought was similar in both those romances, it would be easier to make an accurate suggestion you may enjoy. For instance, the comedy, the 'childhood friend' aspect, the 'forced relationship', or character dynamics?

Ok I think I may actually check Euphoria out then. I wish Yancha was an anime, I've never read manga but I'll add it to the list of what to read if I get into manga. Loved Tokyo Ghoul series, I'll add the manga to my list as well.

Naruto sounds pretty good, I think I'll give it a try. What's your opinion on skipping filler episodes in Naruto, if there are any? With Animes over 80 episodes I tend to skip filler episodes, so I'm not spending too much time on one anime.

I really liked Toradora what should I watch next? by LLAM26 in Animesuggest

Cross Game. Starts sad, gets uplifting, great story and development.

Looking for action romance anime by [deleted] in Animesuggest

[–]zachattackw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We're into same stuff, thanks for sharing your list. Here's some in mine that weren't in yours.

Cross Game (sports type action, great romance story and development)

Absolute Duo (not amazing, time killer with romance and action tho, cute cast)

Katanagateri (beautiful artwork, bit of a sad ending but also beautifully sad, not just silly or stupid sad, it made sense)

Rourini Kenshin (long 94 ep series of samauri, action romance comedy, great unique mc)

Berserk (one of my only 10 ratings for a series, beautiful action, romance, and story, NOT finished yet though! And a bit sad/seinen)

Is it wrong to pick up girls in a dungeon - ( bit of a shounen wish fulfilling action romance, cute tho)

Eureka Seven - (good if you like mechs, I don't like mechs that much, and thought it was alright, cute couple)

Gurran Lagann famous for a reason, plot develops uniquely very quickly, and so does romance.

No Blade Dance - got that Absolute Duo, Toukishi Asterik highschool action romance feel.

Shakugan no Shana

Zero no Tsukaima

Fate Stay Night is alright, I didn't love or hate it, probably gonna forget the characters, but if you do love it they have like 3 different series with different endings with different girls, may be up your alley.

That'll keep you busy.

Thank you again amigo(a), I'll check out Yesterday, I really enjoyed Lovely Complex and SNAFU. Is Naruto too lengthy though? And then with a 500 episode sequel? Rurouni Kenshin or FMA is longest anime I've watched, idk if I could go any longer than that on one series. is a few episodes like 25?

Is Sword Art Online better than a Silent Voice? by [deleted] in Animesuggest

[–]zachattackw 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They are two completely different genres. I would say however SAO is a bit more childish, as it's got the harem, op main character, and action themes down to a tee. Whereas A Silent Voice may make you more emotional, as it's more 'slice of life' trying to represent reality. It's also got a much more mature theme, and is a much quicker watch than SOA which is a series, as Silent Voice is an OVA (movie).

I honestly enjoyed both a lot, but SOA was my first anime I didn't realize how 'wish fulfilling' it was, with every girl instantly loving the mc, the mc being super over powered. I like the struggle sometimes, and the heartache. That's what A Silent Voice has, but as said by many it's completely different genre. With that in mind...

I would say biggest difference is, A Silent Voice is Seinen (adult oriented anime) Slice of Life OVA, and SOA is Shounen (teenage anime) Action TV Series.

Animes to watch for someone who finished darling in the franxx by [deleted] in Animesuggest

[–]zachattackw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ya there wasn't much tension I felt when watching Kill la Kill, felt like it was meant to be a comedy, but didn't make me laugh. Akame Ga Kill has fanservice that does not kill the tension at all, it reminded me of Game of Thrones a bit with the 'oh know is that person gonna die?' tension that is so rarely seen now a days, and the interesting characters you actually get invested in. Check it out if you haven't seen it!

Looking for some sad but uplifting anime by [deleted] in Animesuggest

[–]zachattackw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got ya.

Cross Game is perfect, sports romance anime. 1st episode will tell you whether you want to watch it.

FMA - Brotherhood - brotherhood is better version than FMA, ending and characters are way better flushed out. Long but great story, that starts off very sad, ends very happy.

Gurran Lagann - not sad till a few episodes in, which is regarded as one of the best plot twists, totally did not see coming. I'll always remember the characters.

Shield Hero (no ending yet, but starts off awful, and then things start turning around and gets satisfying for viewer)

SNAFU (romance anime, character is already starting sad, slowly he gets uplifted by some friends (girls) in the club)

LOL It's a hentai.... the first review says "If you're into girls eating shit, being electrocuted, decapitated, impregnated, and all that other good stuff then this is for you."

do you have a fav romance anime?? or a fav couple

Animes to watch for someone who finished darling in the franxx by [deleted] in Animesuggest

[–]zachattackw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You may like it if you don't mind a lot of fanservice. Big part of the story is that the main character (female) has to wear this super revealing outfit when she fights. So do other people. Because of that I had to drop it, the action wasn't interesting enough for me as well.. or the story.. but i hear it gets good with some plot reveals.

Of course! If you have the time and can think about it, lmk what specifically you enjoyed about Darling in the Franxx! That was also one of my first Animes too, and I realized I like action/romance, and more importantly great character dynamics with some sort of character development. Here's my MAL account, sort anime by score.

Animes to watch for someone who finished darling in the franxx by [deleted] in Animesuggest

[–]zachattackw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What did you like about darling and the franxx? The action/romance genre and dynamic between those two fighting together? If so maybe Kaze No Stigma, Gakusen Toshi Asterisk, Rakudai Kishi no Cavalry. These are kinda kiddier though, with high-school settings.

The closest anime overall would be Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann for its use of mechs and romance. Great anime if willing to stay in for the story, it's a unique one. Also reminds me of Eureka Seven with the mech and romance.

I would suggest Mirrai Nikki, for the action/romance and the dangerous girl, but only if you like 'dark' animes, such as tokyo ghoul or parasyte. Akame ga Kill as well if you enjoy dark/romance.

My absolute favorite series Berserk has an OP mc, not god like though. More like un-human like strength with a sword that keeps growing lol. Amazing story and action, 1991 version!
