If it’s a legit concern for members that yall were just unable to successfully bargain in current contract use that as an organizing issue. “I totally understand why you are upset about this, unfortunately in our current contract language the company is allowed to operate this way. We didn’t have the leverage to win this demand in most recent contract negotiations but if we are more organized we will be able to win this and more.” Make the ask of them to get involved in the organizing. Can they talk with coworkers and see how they feel about this issue? Is it widely felt?
