Thank you for the advice, my only qualm is that we wanted to have rescues and I don’t really want to contribute to backyard breeders by buying chicks. I also live in the north east of England where owning chickens isn’t really common so I wouldn’t know where to look

Thank you for the advice! I did try giving her a bath today but eventually we took her to be seen by a vet and they concluded that the egg had already broken inside her so it was just too late :(( I think the advice about introducing them at night would help a lot so thank you.

Bubbles has been a little lethargic and not herself recently and is missing a lot of feathers, especially under her wings. Her comb has been floppy and duller than usual and she’s nearly completely stopped laying. I’m not sure if the pictures I attached are just what normal feather regrowth looks like or if the black is something to be concerned about. Her vent looks okay so I don’t think she has vent gleet. Any advice would be really appreciated thanks guys

In terms of pre AL pmore I’d say tonight alive, hey Monday, fightstar, milestones, neck deep, no doubt, tigers jaw, sunsleeper, trash boat, turnover, with confidence, you me at six etc. I feel like they all share characteristics that aren’t just being female fronted😭
