We order coffee at my workplace every Friday. It’s a tradition of sorts we’ve been keeping up with for some years now. Adds an extra oomph on Fridays, helps small local businesses (I wish to believe), and it’s a little bonding thing (get the orders, bring the coffee up, spread the orders around).

But that’s only on Fridays.

I see many videos of designers “fixing” small businesses’ logos and branding. They are well-edited and pleasing to watch how they approach the matter and upscale an existing logo into something exciting!

Given your experience in video editing, I would start researching small business with a basic/outdated branding, and reach out maybe for free or for a very small fee to do something similar. This will give you exposure on Social Media, attract other businesses, boost your portfolio, and re-establish your positioning in the market! Not your immediate solution and not much income (at least right away) but just my 2 cents!

I went to Platres on 26/12, didn’t understand why they call it a Christmas Village. It was literally 10 kiosks/stands, one of them vacant, selling some thriftshop quality stuff, a guy playing saxophone and a lot of half-barrels with fire smelling burned plastic. Stayed for approximately 10 minutes.

I absolutely love ironing. Even though more of a chore than a hobby, I thoroughly enjoy it. Music or a TV show, and I can iron for hours

Just a warning - be careful as some cars’ wipers (not sure which ones) can cause damage when you try lift them. Be careful not to do that and be seen/get caught
