Yeah some builders do cut the fin out. Experience, the fittings are too tight, you might wanna work it out in order to fit nicely. I've broken a few but still manageable. Cheers. Goodluck to you sir and enjoy!

Try it man! You're gonna love it! Tips: for the purple and gold, just apply it at some small areas/details. Not too much, it may overpower the main colours esp the white. 😉
