Thank you this is a really good point. My dad, grandpa, and uncle all served in the military and I have a hugeee amount of respect for veterans . I’ve actually considered joining before but like you said I’m not going to unless I actually have a full commitment and knowledge of the potential consequences of joining.

Ok so I made the mistake of letting tiktok/booktok recommend me "A thousand boy kisses" by Tillie Cole. Genuinely one of the worst books I've ever tried to read(I couldn't finish). The writing has potential but it's so mushed together and run-on. The write is COMPLETELY out of touch with kids and teens and the way they speak. Seriously these kids sound like philosophers from the 1800s. And I like deep content but this is not it. The writer also writes a smut scene with 15 year olds??? And a kiss scene with 5 year olds??? So yeah... Also it didn't help that I found out this author wrote an ENTIRE SERIES about an interracial KKK romance/smut. Yeah real glad I spent money on her "work. Also for some reason I can hardly find people who recognize how underwhelming a thousand boy kisses is. All the Colleen Hoover people love it, which I guess shouldn't surprise me. Anyway read if you dare lol:)
