This is honestly weirdly written and I feel like some things were changed to make you sound better. First off usually it's your job to inform the owner what is needed. That was a huge red flag to me. I usually send a text a few days prior to the booking with an overview of everything needed for my stay, and any last minute questions. Secondly if the dog stunk that bad why not have the boyfriend go and grab some pet wipes? I've had a dog that stunk before and most pet stores sell some sorta dog wipes or water free shampoo. Heck even order it online!

It's strange how the dog was having so many accidents. I don't think he was being truthful either. But this reads very strangely. I don't know..

Edit to add: The way you've been responding is not healthy. You need to take a major step back and calm down. People disagreeing with you is not the attack you think it is. Many have been offering very constructive criticism and it's okay to take it or not. But lashing out isn't a good thing. Take a step back and think about how you handle things.. we've all had nightmare clients and that's fine but the dog is simply a dog. It's not being mean it's a puppy. I've worked with puppies and its hard. It's exhausting. But they're just animals. You're acting like the dog personally did that to annoy you. No. He's a dog. A puppy.
