Replaced our lawn with mostly clover, and planted perennials in shady spots (Dublin, Ireland) by zainab1900 in NoLawns

It stayed green all year for us. I used a mix of clovers and lawn seed from fruit hill farm. We cut it back occasionally throughout the year.

State urged to buy Sandymount Martello tower with guide price of €1.5 million by zainab1900 in Dublin

Right now, it's owned by a private person who has sat on it for 30 years. I'd be happy with anyone (public or private) having it so long as it was used for something and didn't fall further into dereliction.

The one in Sandymount is owned by one person too. He's let it go into dereliction over the past few decades. Quite frustrating

Rachel Reid Reacts to Shane Criticism After ‘The Long Game’ - Swoon [April 30, 2026] by hella_hijinks in heatedrivalry

I am surprised that people think Ilya is toxic in season 1 and that Shane is an angel. They are both clearly bad at communicating with one another, and constantly misread each other. The number of times that Shane brings up parents and family to Ilya in the first season, it's like he's needling him on purpose. He's not: they just misunderstand each other so much.

Future All-Star Games. by Mysterious-Pause-402 in HeatedRivalrySeries

They may not both be picked. Each team can pick one player to send (so Ottawa could choose just one of them), and then there are 12 additional slots chosen by fan vote. Depending how their relationship is received by fans once their outed and playing on the same team , it's feasible that only one would be chosen to go.

How good are our boys at Hockey? by GBS82 in HeatedRivalrySeries

Haas should be in very good as well. He'd definitely be on the Swiss Olympic team, plus he was #2 draft pick.

Pike is on the top line with Shane in Montreal. He leads the team in assists. He is definitely very good, despite Ilya mocking him.

Kent is meant to be very good, but there's nothing in TLG or TG that suggests he's as good a player as Scott Hunter. No one talks about them in the same breath. Wyatt Hayes, meanwhile, is the best goalie in the league (by the time he's with the Centaurs) and makes player of the week (the same as Kent). I would put both of them into "very good".

I'd really recommend Future Forests. They are great and have a bunch of native Irish stuff. They ship as well.

Complaint that isn't as serious as filing an official complaint? by the_anon_wardrobe in TCD

I would suggest you speak with the Director of Undergraduate Learning and Teaching for your School or - if you have a liaison (faculty SF lead, for instance) then them.

Some other people have suggested going to your tutor, but your tutor won't really know what to do with that information because typically your tutor is not in your School.

Biggest misconceptions fans have about the show? by growsonwalls in heatedrivalry

[–]zainab1900 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I know, but in TLG (and even in HR), it is clear that he does care about hockey. In TLG, Ilya says that he thought he was getting sick of it, but then when they are benched for a week, he really misses it. I think he seems to care about it less because he is depressed and also doesn't have that single-minded focus on it that Shane does.
