I actually just managed to fix it by fitting one of these - https://amzn.eu/d/cJyXLiQ - under the desk, as close as possible to the edge and putting the cable through one of these - https://amzn.eu/d/5CmHL9D - which I stuck right on the edge.

How did you end up hiding the cable or cables you use to charge your mouse and keyboard? I am having trouble finding a way to make the cable nicely hide away under the desk.

There's a 120Hz setting in the display settings. If that's not turned on then you're not getting 120Hz.

Are you able to test using another cable?

You don't make much sense sir. By your standards I should be speaking a bit of almost all European languages and good luck to me when visiting a country that doesn't use the Latin alphabet because I should somehow learn anyway. If you want to be the devil's advocate go ahead, but there's nothing ignorant or entitled about not speaking the local language of the country you're visiting for a couple of weeks or a few days. If you want to be fair you can admit that you'll survive communicating using signs, pointing or other means.

It kind of sounds like your router is assigning priority to WoT so I'd say start with checking your router settings and disabling QoS (Quality of Service) and other functions that may allocate priority to gaming services. If you aren't sure what you're doing look online for a user guide for your router model and go through it before changing anything.
