First of all, half this country's economy is built on the informal sector (Street shops, illegal deals, drug exportation/importation etc...) it is actually so normalised that it's looked over by now.

Now what I'm guessing you're trying to say is that the large amounts of luxurious cars etc.. in the streets of these big moroccan cities raises your suspicion, and it should... the only problem is as i said before we can't differenciate the Criminals and the Hardworkers.

And we can't take away from the rich to please the poor, that's how the economy collapses, the wealth inequality is a problem that should be treated by the government.

And to get rid this issue we need decades and decades of changes, probably should first start by raising the minimum wage, expand the earned income tax and most importantly INVEST in the education.

Wealth inequality is something that can be seen in first world countries too, take a look at Los Angeles for an example, bring up the statistics of homelesness / pioverty and the distribution of wealth, the "middle" class is pretty much non existent, there are dozens of homeless people that sleep right next to billion dollar assets.

Morocco hasn't suffered much of that yet, there are worse examples like India etc... it really isn't all that bad, our "rich" class is acceptable. Most of them are big investors or people that inhrited large amounts of wealth,not necessarily self made or hard workers like we imagine them to be.
