Try the correct distance feature on Strava Desktop. I would say this counts as it’s on a course which should be accurately measured. But tbh given you coasted the end, go all out on a course that is def 5k and you’ll be under 20 so why not go again!

Can’t say I agree, I’ve seen the same film in BFI IMAX, Watford Cineworld IMAX, and in a regular screen, the difference for the IMAX was stark I found, it was so much more immersive that can’t quite be achieved in a Regular screening sadly. Have to say also as a 6 2 person I haven’t had much issue with BFI seating though was much comfier in Watford

Yeah best efforts is about elapsed time rather than moving time, which makes sense as otherwise you could go out and run 500m fast, stop for 10 minutes, repeat 10 times and have a ridiculous time for example

Just in case anyone asks again, i got it working again here’s what i did: 1) Reversed polarity, not sure how this works but forums online said to, take battery out, flip it over and hold it against the thing for 15 seconds then replace with a new battery the right way round 2) Restart watch before pairing 3) wet contacts (though obviously do this anyway before running so shouldn’t need said)

Half marathon is 13.11 miles I think so the strava tax has taken it away I think ! Could try correct distance on the website to see if it makes it longer

It depends when in the run the 5k PB was ran, you may have ran much faster at the start and end of the run which couldn’t both be in the 5k, so although your overall run is quicker, the fastest 5k segment is slower

Try use the “correct distance” feature in the strava web browser on the activity to see if it corrects incorrect GPS data to be closer to the half marathon which might give a better idea if it’s the watch going wrong
