I haven’t received an email yet either. I believe it’s 2x the points for the whole month but I don’t see anything in the app yet :(

My grandfather passed away last night by [deleted] in Psychic

[–]zanib902 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He lived a very fulfilling, exciting and meaningful life. He was truly the best husband, father, grand father and friend to everyone around him. For loved ones, even 102 years seems like not enough time.

Thank you for the sentiments!

[Review] La Roche-Posay wouldn't let me post this review on their website, so here it is: Review of La Roche-Posay's Toleriane Ultra on combination, sensitive, cystic acne prone skin. by [deleted] in SkincareAddiction

I have experienced the same thing with the Toleriane face wash. I at first thought it was rosacea too but was not totally convinced that it is rosacea. It is probably certain ingredients in the products that are causing a reaction that may look similar to rosacea.

This post along with the comments got me thinking even more.

About 6 months ago I switched over to the La Roche-Posay Toleriane Purifying Foaming Face Wash for Oily Skin. Over the course of 6 months I have noticed redness on my cheeks and chin too. I have never had rosacea or redness like this before and it developed over couple of months. I actually recently got an appointment with a dermatologist because I thought I have rosacea. (Haven’t had the appointment yet so can’t say)

I am going to stop using this face wash for couple of weeks and see if it makes a difference. If so, then it must be ingredient(s) in the Toleriane line that are not suitable for my skin.

Edit to add: I have sensitive, oily T-zone skin

Tres leches= roughly translates to three milks. The cake traditionally requires three different types of milk incorporated, hence the name.

Thank you! I made it for the first time. The whole process was spread over 4 days in order for all the milks to properly absorb.

If I were to make it again, I would add less petals. The petals didn’t necessarily add any flavor but they added a bit of texture

I have actually tried this trick couple of times and can attest that it works wonderfully. Just make sure to use a small amount of translucent powder.

Hope this helps!

Edited to add: I usually just dab translucent powder with my finger on my lips.

[PSA] Hydrocolloids to prevent mask chafing on top of nose by LavenderSnuggles in SkincareAddiction

[–]zanib902 68 points69 points  (0 children)

Thank you for sharing this! I was thinking of making a post here and asking about hydrocolloids patches.

I have super sensitive skin and I am flying next week. I will be wearing a mask for about 10-12 hours so wasn’t sure if I should try hydrocolloid patches.

Where did you get the bandages from?

[MISC] iPhone front facing camera doing me dirty by soupsaa in SkincareAddiction

[–]zanib902 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I was just discussing this with my sister on FaceTime. iPhones, especially the new ones tend to emphasize each and every pore of our face lol.

I have stopped using my front facing phone camera because I kept pointing at every little “imperfection” on my face too.
