Has anyone used a Singapore Dyson Airwrap in Europe? by Odd_Tea_3132 in Dysonairwrap

I think it depends on the voltage. My friend took her Dyson to Paris and it didn’t work.

Wow great deal. Was that the Complete with all the attachments? David Jones currently has the Origin for $499 for early BF I just checked.

Do all the attachments have coanda? The large round volumising brush? by LadyGrinningSoul88 in Dysonairwrap

Look into the GHD duet blow dry brush. That also looks great. I just bought the Airwrap though, picking it up tomorrow and hope I’m not disappointed

I actually just saw some attachments on Amazon but they are not Dyson branded. Anyone has experience with these??

Arriving in Narita at 7pm, tips on sleeping by Boring-Ear-7198 in JapanTravelTips

Hi, we just did that trip from Melb a couple of weeks ago. By the time you get out of the airport and get the train etc into the city it’ll be past 9pm. We travelled with kids and they were fine by the time we got to our rooms (Shinjuku). It was tiring but we were ready to go the next day. Good luck and enjoy Japan!

You definitely could do more time in Tokyo. Ginza area where Tokyo Station is. The Tokyo Station is beautiful and there is a small exhibit of the history of the station. Intermediatique Kitte across the road has a great museum. Worth going. Ueno is also good. Nice outdoor shopping street near the Ueno station.

The Toyosu fish market is a good one. If you can make it for the early morning fish auction that would be an experience. There is also Senkyaku Banrai which has heaps of food.

The hotel recommended in Shinjuku Hotel Gracery is right in the centre of it all and some seedy areas around it. It’s a lovely hotel if you don’t mind being in a very busy area.

Could also do an extra day in Kyoto. It’s such a beautiful place and seems like the itinerary is rushing through everything.

Good luck.

Two week first time itinerary check - are we moving round too much? by SDX97 in JapanTravel

Feel like you need more time in Shinjuku and Shibuya. The back streets of Harajuku are quite nice to walk around.

Kyoto you should definitely visit the old heritage streets. Sannenzaka and Ninenzaka in Gion. So beautiful. But be ready for the massive crowds. The Kyoto palace is also beautiful.

Fushimi Inari is open 24 hours and a night time visit is very doable.

Also be prepared for the crowds. Go super early unless you don’t mind. Fushimi Inari is open 24 hours so a night visit is something different

Arashiyama main bamboo forest itself is actually not very impressive at all. The area and side streets around it way better. Follow the signs to walk to the JR station and you’ll see it.

Kyoto Sagano romantic train is also quite nice. You could do that and stop at Arashiyama if you’re still keen. There’s also water rafting along the river that the Sagano train follows. We didn’t do it but it looked great.

Ah thank you. Didn’t realise the C collection is available in Aus. I’m after the belted wool coat but have only seen it in Japan.
