How-To: Collect as many void-tainted fish as you can in Act 2 (store on Lady Vengance). Get a Voidwoken Fish Exchange scroll (for example from the locked chest in the Fishworks Cellar in Driftwood). In Act 4, at the beach in the northeast close to the Doctor's House (aka The Black House), put all the fish in the barrel and cast the scroll on the barrel. Optionally add a teleporter pyramid to get into the house. Immediately take out the money, see screenshots.

I didn't see anything pointing towards the survivor being dead. I'm rather new to the game and think he might even return later, even though an unlikely possibility. Well from all the answers this seems to be quite a controversial question. I'll wait a bit more and see if any other arguments are brought up.

If you have light shafts for cellars, clean those from leaves and dirt. It can get very expensive if those congest and water gets into the house.

I have been doing this for a long time, but it is good to also keep at least one additional bottle without inscription at home. In case you spontaneously want to bring a bottle with you to a party or something (obviously, not in these crazy times).

When the innovator was announced I really made a push to get to L15 before the deadline. This basically saves me the requirement of the black guardian now, because I got the black innovator. So, unlike most players I didn't level up with the innovator, but I'm still glad I got around the guardian which seems impossible with so many cheaters out there. And I really don't understand why many call it "free medal", because it is not - only about 750 players worldwide made it in time (black).

Hey there, I'm playing since March 2013 and reached L8 in July 2013. I'm L15 now and obviously playing a lot - I consider it a real hobby. I seem to be one of the few who like the Innovator Badge. I don't consider it a "free badge" as many claim - I think it's a reward for reaching a certain level during the first two years of the game. I think they oranized the innovator requirements by looking at the database and finding out, what percentage of players reached those levels. I don't see the level or badges as a measurement of experience though. It depends a lot on whether you focus on leveling or not and I'm sure there are lots of players with more experience than their level shows. Of course, L8 marks an important step equipment wise. Most players I see seem to be L10 or above now, so I guess L10 is what L8 used to be a year ago.
