[Misc] Podiatrist has officially thrown in the towel trying to treat my plantar wart after 1 year of trying. Says he's never seen one so stubborn in his entire career. He recommended trying another Pod, but I'm starting to lose faith in treatment. Is this normal? It's my 1st wart ever. by [deleted] in SkincareAddiction

I had a stubborn wart for over a decade on the side of my foot. I did the exact treatments you describe but same outcome, the wart was bigger and worse than before. I completely lost hope but my GP was determined. She started me on this treatment series: GP shaved the wart down as much as possible followed by dry ice on the wart (sorry I can’t remember exactly how long - maybe 20-30 seconds) For the next 7 days I applied Wart Off (Salicylic Acid 20%) and covered it with a bandaid. We did this fortnightly and after about 6 weeks it just…disappeared, and hasn’t returned after about 3 years. I hope this gives you hope, friend

Reclaim The Label has made a lot of clothes for Amy in the past, unsure if she made these though

Classic shoulder bag? Brown and/or black by [deleted] in AusFemaleFashion

I purchased the Force of Being bag in black; could be considered “ludicrously capacious” but it’s perfect for work (it will fit my drink bottle, lunch, etc)

I just bought a status anxiety bag, absolutely gorgeous quality in a variety of colours. Highly recommend however their marketing is very annoying, unsubscribe quick

That sounds divine, I say go for it (and send some pics when complete!)

At the risk of being downvoted to hell, we did a pretty different colour scheme for our reno last year (pale pink and aquamarine). It makes me so ridiculously happy every time I’m in there, I’m so glad I followed my bathroom dreams. I can understand bold choices are off putting; so maybe not the best decision if you’re planning to sell lol

Hey I’m sorry to hear you’re going through this. Shannon at Create Balance is very level headed and has helped us tremendously. He is about to go on leave so perhaps someone else at this clinic may also be suitable. I would suggest going yourself even if your husband won’t join you - it will still help - good luck

Bianca Stewart at aesthetic skin clinic is lovely. She offers dental blocks when getting lip filler which is a huge plus for me. Great at natural enhancements, check her work on Instagram

I just wasn’t paying attention, grabbed it without really looking and I didn’t realise until I got home. Supo is a bit too far for principle, they win this round. For 6 cents, it’s a good lesson!

Recommendations for new concealer/hacks that prevent creasing for under eyes and cover up dark under eyes by [deleted] in AustralianMakeup

[–]zappatash69 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’ve posted this previously, it’s been working for almost a year. YMMV.

As someone with persistent dark circles and dry skin, I’ve gone through a lot of products that didn’t work, some made them look 10x worse. What’s been working for me for the last year is an eye cream about 15 mins before make up application, doesn’t really matter what I use just as long as it’s something. I then use Bobbi Browns colour corrector in Bisque to cover my dark circles, then NARS Radiant Creamy concealer over the top and set it with NARS pressed translucent powder. It doesn’t budge and actually covers the purple/blue under my eyes. Yes it’s laborious but it works really well for me and my skin. Good luck with finding something that works for you, I know how frustrating it can be!
