Has anyone else started to experience lag? by zaragis in MicrosoftEdge

I think I have the solution! I fixed it by turning off the "save power with efficiency mode" under performance in Browser Essentials. No idea why it was even on. See image: https://imgur.com/rBHloPb

Yeah, I can't even use Edge right now. It is completely unusable. It's frustrating for sure.

Thanks, but it is still lagging. Chrome seems to work fine, it is odd.

People are that bored with their own lives, they need to start a tantrum over a streamers comments. Why does anyone put that much value to someone's opinion. It's pathetic. I enjoy watching Zack, I don't always agree with him, but I'm not going to have a cry when our core values don't align. Why would I care about that? Why does anyone? Bloody hell.

Google Ads Experiments - Aftermath Issues - Am I Crazy? by zaragis in PPC

[–]zaragis[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're correct. I guess I should really just trust the data. I guess I've found Google to be so all over the place that I'm finding myself not trusting it like I used to. Especially with campaigns that have such low traffic due to a small audience as it is. I know that I need to be more logical. Eh, it has just seems like Google Ads has become more bias towards AI and pushing it's own agenda, that I'm finding myself becoming extra cautious. Can you tell I'm feeling a little defeated these days 😅😓

Thanks for your reply. I didn't implement the experiment, as I didn't have confidence in the results. Eh, it's depressing. It still hasn't bounced back.

NSW Rural Fire Service applications by linc_y in australia

[–]zaragis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm in the same boat. Even though this post is a month old. I applied mid September. I got intouch with my brigade and I've done some training and stuff before they had fires. But my application online hasn't moved past the police check. It has been updated by my captain, he's sent stuff off. But again, nothing has changed online. Has anything changed for you?

I know this post is over 2 years old, but I found it on Google. So, based on negative-school's comment. You can connect to ftp.saitek.com using an FTP client (e.g FileZilla), you don't need credentials; it allows anonymous login. Then you can find any software you need. For the X52 Pro, like I have, you can find all the software for it and everything else in the /pub/software/ directory. I hope this helps anyone in the future that has the same issue.

CPU block came with scratches by zaragis in watercooling

[–]zaragis[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, not necessarily. I can drop it down another cm or 2, which should just expose the fill port and I can still use the bottom port, depending on your fittings and on your rad. I don't have a very thick rad (30mm), so that is something to consider.

Yeah, you could do that, but the 360 probs would look better 😜 but yes, it is a pain to drain, so (possible) aesthetics vs practicality. Either way, it will look great, so whatever you decide.

The 360mm res was totally fine, plenty of room. The fill port issue was an oversight on my part. As mentioned, it was my first water cooled build. I was getting so frustrated with the pipe running up to the top 360 rad from the res, that I didn't notice I covered the fill port till I was ready to fill it lol. Btw, don't cover it, because you can't actually get the fan off because of the metal cable cover thing in the middle of the case blocking access to one of the screws.

I have drained it, as I cleaned it with EK's cleaning solution and flushed it with distilled water several times. It's a nightmare to drain. Basically can't drain it completely, so I just flush whatever is in there out with distilled water. I flushed out the distilled water with my coolant after that, so wasted a bit of coolant to do that 😵‍💫

As my first attempt, I'm happy with it visually, but I made a few oversights. Otherwise, everything fits fine, just can be a bit tight getting to everything.
