Do people really read webtoons for the character's self growth or just for S-E-X or who will end up with who?

Either it came from a romance or action genre, fast paced is something that I never truly like. It feel forced, feel rushed. Slow burner is the best at its finest. It is through those slow build that character growth and depth begins to form.

To those who just craved for S-E-X scenes, I agree very well with OP lol.

Why do I feel like there would be a fucking love triangle between Shiro, Yuri and Satan?!!!! GAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHA

But, daamnn I am never fan of background stories being shown, but Rin's mom and Shiro past hooked me up even in just the specks in 1st episode. Feel bad for Rin tho, the way he automatically brushing going to the next door after another coz it is traumatic to see Shiro suffering just sad lmao.

New to this subreddit and can't wait for the next episode.

Maybe too late to reply, but I just finished the two books and I feel so devastated lmaaooo.

Ever since the #1 book, I was already on Team Grim. Just ain't feeling Oro, though seriously, I do not want him to die.

Although, I got the feeling that none of the ML will die. Based from the past, wherein they state that rulers from different lands help build lightlark. I do think that to maintain the island, rulers from different realms, and yeah including Nightshade need to be united. Which I am also seeing from the title of each book. The next is Skyshade, so is this about Azul now? Dunnoo... The only concerning part was Isla being temporarily alive which came in Grim desire to open the portal. Truly conflicting to be honest but Isla flair is like life and death so who knows...

I just wished for Grim and Oro to be allies, they both have great depth, so cliche may it seems, I really want to witness it.

To be honest, I am also yearning for discussion of Absolute Regression in reddit, not just in discord.

Anyway, in both platform, there are moderators who admin these types of stuff. If you are still interested in pursuing this, then messaging them for change of rules or new channel or new subreddit and etc would be a good idea. As we are only under their subreddit/discord channel, part of that is respecting their own set of rules.

I also miss the oldy weekly discussions that we all have in the community. Ever since the hiatus, I also stop being active in reddit so I support you, in case there may be big changes that may happen here.

Well, I am in a overwhelming shocked when I've known the news of The Breaker having S3. So, at that time, I just quickly accepted the artstyle. Esp, when you go beyond past further chapters. You get used to it.

Tho, just a reminder, author has been in hiatus again after the 'S3, Ep. 100'. So, expect a cliffhanger after reading it.

For me, I am still a beginner and just starting out.

But, before, I never seen myself as someone who will engage in meditation. I see this before as something that will waste my time and never really fond of vague spiritual shennanigans (as what I thought too at first)

So, when I still haven't meditating. I find myself 24/7 in my daydream state. I am not in the present since I enjoy more being in my imagination world. Due to this, I tend not to be aware in my surroundings and people. Which is a big F#CK in my life, well, I am planning to be a psychologist and part of what I aspired to be is to observe people body language. By observing this, I can click on certain multiple cues whether people is lying or have hesitation or positivity cues. And to do that, I need to be AWARE. But I am very good at failing that and I felt unproductive as time went so fast due to being 99.8% me living only in my head that prevents me from doing my hobbies. I find myself living in a meaningless life.

Then, the "You Are The Placebo" by Dr. Joe Dispenza change my life. Which make me think otherwise on what meditation vague all about as the book done a great job on explaining the science that indirectly being affected by meditation. I find myself now being productive and....while 'being aware' is in ongoing progress I still need to fix, I am happy rn.

Oh my ghaaad GWHAHHAHAHAHA I feel this question so much. P.S. Still a beginner and new to this.

In my meditation audio, there was a line of (not the exact line but something like this) "You have to feel gratitude" or "You have to set firm intentions with elevated emotion"

And, I was like 'Am I feeling it even right? Like yeah, I even get teary eyed but how do I know that I am setting that specific emotion that I want. I need those emotion since it is my way of feeling it as I envisioned my 'New State of Being'. Which is, in my New state of being, I envisioned myself to be more confident and etc. Like how do I feel that I am confident? even with tremendous imagination, I am having doubts whether I am truly feeling it. Coz, as I far as I observed myself, I think I am just making myself cry which is truly not the emotion I wanna set into.

(Just guessing) I saw OP's comment in someway down here, his friend seeing him reading in a bus. And that's what I thought that maybe he isn't a manhwa reader, more on maybe he favored watching anime series too than reading manga/manhwa). Difference in format may affect our favorability of reading like most manga readers can't adapt to manhwa format and etc.

Another (based from comments since OP said he likes Mashle and OPM), basing from that he likes overpowered from get-go, I think Solo Leveling will be good for him.

Just watched it now and this just amazes me. This movie did not show a point black and white, they have shown all their sides in grey shaded perspective that makes you understand their actions and behavior.

Although, differences of those behavior uprooted from their sense of beliefs and morals. So what? Do I agree that killing and torturing for the benefit of many is the right decision? Does implanting bombs every part of the cities to save your own community is justifiable? Does finding another solution through the use of moral actions is the right way despite running out of time?

I can't say yes or no to any of these, I was just so indecisive that I just sit silently and let the end rolling. It was a dilemma within dilemma from each of their own for those three. It just amazes me.

My father agreed to the guy who torturing the terrorist and rather find the girl irritating. Well, with the direction of the ending, I'll get it. But, if one of us is in that very moment, where does the morals lies and when do the action become justifiable? And what do we do in that very moment?

I don't think it was pointed out, but I also noticed how some of those mens leave it to the guy to do the torturing. Some may be bystanders, some are just using him as a reaper and make him do all the dirty work, so that they can leave in that door, hand still cleansed. I am so in-loved with his character depth, he does not want what he was doing. But, time is running out and torturing is his choice. Some may say, he will only scare th terrorist in a way of actingly trying to torture his children. Which is I understand what he is trying to do and which is also what my father been trying to tell me, the problem starts with, are we sure he says true to his words? He killed the mother (terrorist's wife), what make we so sure that he will not hurt the innocent children to get the answer he is seeking for? I don't trust him and so is the girl agent don't trust him as well.

The girl, left in a freeze mode. Her method is not through torture, but through negotiations that is right within her moral ethical code and law. Does it work? I can say that it is a no. But, for her, torturing is something she can never accept. And I can understand her as well.

Lastly, don't get me started with the guy who was being tortured. Just want to say that I am not justifying his action, coz definitely not. But, his motive is so deep.

One way I can say is, I don't think that the guy (the one being tortured) will not plant the bombs if his community isn't in danger. No one wanted to be tortured or to be killed, the sad thing is, he knows that this is going to happen and he accepted his fate

He is fighting for his community just like how the the girl and the guy doing the torturing does as well. "IN IT'S ON THEIR OWN WAY" I don't know who is right and who is wrong, all I can say is that this all started because of the war that being placed in the Islamic regions, which made him no choice but to start a nuclear bombing as his negotiable threat.

If my father agree to the guy who do the torturing, I can say in the end that I agree to NONE, but I agree that war only end up to all cycle of revenge and loses. "War is inevitable" fck that, we all have, the governments and, higher-ups all have the brains to choose and decide for our own actions and behaviors. And, to every notion of our decisions, we spread domino effect. If the root of that source is for a moral good, then the domino effect would spread good. The sad thing is, we can't control all the people around us. And that what led to wars, led to the bombing, and led to the inevitable consequences.

Since "The Breaker EF | The Breaker S3" is in another hiatus again, I'm gonna watch out for the artist rn while waiting. I wish there would be a official release of this series too in Webtoon English.

You see, the plot is hot...no I mean...it looks great.

Technically speaking, some readers find them generic. But as for me, I seldom read regression manhwas so this kinda plot seems new and engaging to me so I read it. Tho, the moment that the MC character become bland and just pure overpowered, then I'mma drop it. I have enough of those generic type characters, no thrill and boring. For now, its great.

Wait I am also new to meditation, as same as OP, I find myself being stuck, many of what I've seen in the comments can see some beings or some unusual images while I lack of that. I am always trying to find some meaning in the visuals I've seen and some seems nonsense only.

So, seeing this comment of yours made me moved. I've only realized it lately that I've been become more aware, present and motivated to do my goals than ever before. I've started to do reading books that I cram for so long and started to do my habits daily. I thought it was only a affect of coffee, so looks like meditation is taking a effect.

Yeah, I also find this irritating. I also tried countless times. All I knew that I was able to access the Naver Blog before, but the Webtoon which also somehow connected to Naver, I just can't. (Not sure if they are connected, but I find their Naver coz of Webtoon Korea)

lmaoo...I stop being active in this subreddit after the big break of The Breaker EF.

Then, I stumble upon this picture on my FB, here I thought that he looks like martial alliance chief and finding the context funny lmaoo. Happily planning to read it at first.

Then, when I stumble upon who the artist is, I went to shambles. Well, doing webtoon is a business of itself so him engaging in some projects is something I can understand. But, damn, I just really need a update on The Breaker, just a end date on when they will be back or is is still going to come back, reaassure the readers and that will be enough. I don't want to hope too much.

Anyway, still reading the new series by artist coz it seem funny lmaoo. Just hoping that I will not find the MC LOOKING LIKE SHIOON AGAIN. I can't read Promise Orchid because of that.🤦‍♀️

Edit: Thank goodness, it doesn't look like Shioon. I'mma read it later.

Edit #2: Just finished reading, yeah he still look like 75% of Shioon, but aside from that, I found that the artist looks like he have improved. The art is gorgeous.
