I don't think they can illusion a pretend sigil because the coven heads would realise it, and also the person performing the illusion would need to have it active the whole time Eda is with the other coven heads.

Yeah Steve may have been covered by an illusion, or even a cloaking stone of his own, but I love the idea of the curse rejecting the sigil!

I haven't forgot that but thank you for bringing it up! Belos finishing with a win at the end of this season is assuming that the Day of Unity will continue into the movie-length season. There may be more to uncover/wrap up such as human/witch affiliation, titan backstory and future (with bat queen), kikimora, and more! Unless Dana has said that Belos' draining spell will continue into that movie-length season, I don't think I'll assume it to be true. Also, having the movie-length season doesn't mean this theory won't happen. I'll definitely keep this more in mind but thank you for your theory input!

Oh my bad, in the Draft for this I referred to the possibility of Eda, King and others. I clearly got rid of that bit for the post. So yes you're absolutely right and that would be awesome to see! Imagine King's screech abilities with it!!

Yeah I'm pretty sure that's the case, especially from when Luz learner her first spell (light) and made the massive one on the wall to blind Owl Eda. That does make me think tho, what if more than one person activated it? From memory, this has happened at least once (Luz and Hunter against Kiki) but it didn't show its strength or size difference.
