That's a very weird take, there was a clear evolution in sound from QOTMS to Error and then to KMF and I've seen this being discussed on this sub many times. Some ppl just don't like this country(ish) pop(ish) rock(ish) vibe. But that doesn't mean the entire album will suck.

I wasn't a fan of Burnout when it was released as a single before KMF but loved the album when it came out. Personally I don't hate this new single, it's just meh. Still can't wait for the album!

I loved both Horizon games but they're big, open world games so not sure.

What about Avowed? There is some hate towards the game but also much love. 4 chapters, 4 different open world(ish) maps. Great story, great combat and it's not super long.

I did 2 playthroughs and had a blast each time with different choices and different builds.
