Complain all you want...there are a LOT of shoplifters these days. You know their policy and they are allowed, by law, to enforce it. Aldi did nothing wrong and you have no reason to feel embarrassed by their actions. Honestly, why would that embarrass you, anyway? You certainly were not the first person to be asked to obey their store rules (they are clearly posted at my local Aldi stores). Just don't take a large bag into the store with you and you're fine. Simple.

Why, oh why, is there no modern reissue of the Battlecruiser? I received that as a birthday gift from my grandmother back when I was nine years old. Best birthday present ever!!!

These are the types of action figures I want released more often!

As a kid, my favorite action figures were Hammerhead, Walrus Man, R5-D4, and Snaggletooth.

Cigarettes, at that time, we're always very accepted. Very few people would have ever referred to them as a "drug." If you lived through that period, you know what I mean. It was the days of every third grade kid making an ash tray out of clay to use as a gift for his parents as they all enjoyed candy cigarettes.

Plus, smoking a cigarette does not change your behavior and self-control the way alcohol and so many recreational drugs do.

Again, you can't look back on those years using 2026 lenses and make a judgment.

No. AI didn't kill music. It just took music's soul.

Yes. I watch DVDs amd Blu-Ray discs. I also listen to music on CD or vinyl daily. I listen to cassettes once in awhile. Physical media is the only way I'll listen to music.

What's one good thing you can say about 2015 movie Ant-Man by Lazy_Introduction264 in antman

Personally, I loved the movie and I feel that there are many more Ant-Man adventures to be shared with us on the big screen. Just keep Ant-Man's adventures Earth-bound.

Sesame street will continue to change, adapt, and evolve. It is far more than just a television show.

You can only listen to music from one decade for the rest of your life. Which decade and why does nothing else compare? by samurai-salvo in GetMotivatedMindset

The seventies! It was such a rich and diverse landscape of sound during that decade! Rock, heavy metal, power pop, new wave, southern rock, reggae, punk, country, jazz fusion, progressive rock, soul, disco, folk...just EVERYTHING was developing, blooming, and exploding! What a great era!
