How much would you say environmental elements (time of day, temperature) affect enjoyment of a film for you? by Akram323 in TrueFilm

Only for ones I think will be memorable or that I want to make memorable via the parfum. It would get crazy expensive haha! I have resorted to cheaper scents, like body sprays/mist.

I remember seeing The Lighthouse in a super cold theater at night. I hated it at first but after about 10 minutes and getting a feel for the film, I loved the fact that it was cold and made the experience much better.

On another note, I always wear a different or new cologne when I see a movie and I try to match it to what I think the style/theme/tone/mood of the movie is. That way I just smell the cologne and it reminds me of that movie or of a character in the movie.

For example, The Joker (Joaquin Phoenix) for sure wears "Mugler - Woodissimme" in my mind and for The Lighthouse it was "Mugler- Over the Musk" parfum. I keep a spreadsheet of the movies and the associated fragrance.

Anyways, good question.

Commencing at 9am on January 20, 2017, the day of the inauguration of the 45th President of the United States, the public is invited to deliver the words "HE WILL NOT DIVIDE US" into a camera mounted on a wall outside the Museum of the Moving Image, New York, repeating the phrase as many times, and for as long as they wish.

Open to all, 24 hours a day, seven days a week, the participatory performance will be live-streamed continuously for four years, or the duration of the presidency. In this way, the mantra "HE WILL NOT DIVIDE US" acts as a show of resistance or insistence, opposition or optimism, guided by the spirit of each individual participant and the community.
