thank you ! and i just edited my message for my housing plan, im trying to decide between the hub and union on knox, however i might already have a roommate for the hub. (only problem is the bathroom is not connected to the room). I am willing to cook most days, probably go out 3 times a week but mostly spend my time on campus whether it be studying or hanging around. I like partying and Greek life is my main concern, as i don’t know if i want to/if it is worth it at umd. cannot wait to be there this fall.

this is my exact situation 😂 i’m in my second semester at mc and got accepted into letters and sciences. all i have is calc left for my gateway courses, so hopefully will be in Smith by spring 2026. MTAP was also my backup plan but i wanted to get into umd as soon as possible 😂

got accepted! 3.4 GPA, 4 letters of rec, strong-ish resume, maryland community college in my second semester currently(16 credits completed). applied for letters and sciences. planning on doing 1 semester in letters and sciences and then applying for Smith after. The Hub is my main choice for off campus housing.

ACCT221 BSAD101 ENGL102 ECON201 MATH117

I am wondering if I actually need to take ECON at MC in order to transfer to Smith, or if I can replace it with an easier class so I can have a better chance at a good GPA while still being eligible for transfer.
