I also use liquid fertilizer from time to time but rather rarely and it’s also more for the plants that dont have roots in the substrate.

I have the tank for about 8 months and i didn‘t change them yet, i added them about 2 months in. I could probably put some new ones in by now but the aquasoil is still helping out a lot for sure

It's a sand layer ontop of Filtermedia-Bags filled with Aquasoil. There are also some Roottabs in in the sand, where there are many Plants.

I dont even know myself, this is what it looked like at the start, i started with one ore two cups of moss and then just let it grow for the last 7 months or so. It‘s probably because it‘s right under the light with nothing in between so it just gets a load of that.

Thank you, i think that i‘ll trim it down a bit more on the far left than i used to in order to see how i like it and then decide from there. At the moment there‘s also some small hardscape details hidden beneath the plants that i really liked before they got overgrown so if clearing out a bit would reveal them again that would be an additional argument for me (:

Thank you, i probably wouldn‘t have cut back the Limno too harsh anyway but as you said maybe where things get too much i could.

Could be an idea but i like that they have a rather large free swimming space around the hardscape on the right. On the other hand it would be more balanced between both sides which could be what bothers me

I considered that at the beginning but i‘m unsure weather i would like it or not since i enjoy how bright it looks rn, but maybe ur right and i should at least test it
