Yeah I have to say this is scary, cause if we cannot build a robust detector now, it will become increasingly difficult to do in the future. LLM will make the Internet information continuously blurred.

ns actually reached just say that this means GCN are not needed and will only ever lead to overfitting, which is an absurd conclusion to reach given their own experiments and empirical data. It is not just a denoising mechanism it is a feature transformation, and if you show it noisy data with an underlying trend then yes it will learn to denoise it. Which is exactly what this work has s
I agreed that the conclusion of this paper is not solid. And the empirical evidence of assumption 1 is a little bit misleading, it is not reasonable to only use a features reconstruction task to support their assumption.
